Food/ khanduri blang

We get this typical Acehnese food from a "khanduri blang" program. As usual the Acehnese community in each of their villages, if the rice harvest season is finished, then we in Aceh, again do the "khanduri blang" event. This event aims to realize gratitude to ALLAH SWT. Because ALLAH SWT, has given us blessings, along with this we also pray to God so that the next harvest will be given better results and so on continuously.

The food served by each resident, which was brought together to the edge of the rice fields to be eaten together there, was very varied, some brought chicken rendang, vegetable fish, white cooks typical of Aceh, pliek aceh cooking dishes and many other types of cuisine others, depending on the ability of each in terms of providing food. Because all food is not required for two or three types (free) / halal.

The tradition of Aceh is partly from Islamic teachings
