Five Minute Freewrite: The Broken Swing

Agnes has lived in House 17 of Auckland street for over ten years. It is very close to her place of work. That has made her not to think of relocating. But the owner of the house died and things began to change. One of the sons of the dead landlord inherited the house and served everyone notice to quit. Agnes and her kids had to start looking for a new accommodation.

Luckily for her she got a place not too far away from where they are relocating from. Agnes took time to tidy up the house. There was a swing in the backyard but it was not in a good shape. She had to remove the broken swing from the yard before the children tried to use it.

In a matter of days Agnes fixed everything and moved with her kids. The new apartment became even more comfortable than where they were initially living at House 17.
