Amidst the flowers of Eden, in shadow,

The Black Lotus grew.

Though she lived without the warmth and light of the sun

she did not live without grace.

The Black Lotus is 6″ x 8″ painted graphite on Ampersand Claybord, sealed with a matte medium.
