Welcome to @adayinthesky ▴ Measuring murmurs in mental mud

Welcome to my #introduceyourself post.

My name is Sky, I live in Vancouver Canada. I'm a #journalist and #photographer for an entertainment newspaper as well as a #screenplay writer. I found steemit by accident while researching an article I was writing and thought it looked like an interesting site. I'm happy to be part of the steemit community.

I love to write, I've kept journals since I was twelve years old. At first, they were rather basic but as I got older and wilder I became more interested in documenting my adventures. At night when all my friends and I would be hanging out, they'd ask me to read entries to them. My journals were like the collective memory bank. They always felt more like public property than private admissions. I think that's why blogging appeals to me. No matter what your experience is somebody can always relate, find humor or comfort in it. We're all in this together at the end of the day.
