Soul Sisters : The Tres Marias 👩👧👩 🤍

As much as we enjoy growing up with our siblings, we also enjoy the moments we had, growing up with our friends.

In this world where billions of people co-exist, we meet and create different bonds. My most favorite ones are the type of friendships that equate to family. As someone who is far from being considered as a social 🦋, I have found quite a lot of friendships that are as precious as the relationship I have with my family.

Hive friends, allow me to tell you about some of them!

If one can have their soulmates, one can find their soul sisters as well. In your circle of friends, you always have your trio.

Yes, that trio whom you are with in that group chat 😆.

The ‘Tres Marias’ that is how we call our friendship or should I say that’s how our friends named us haha. A friend of ours from high school specifically was the one who suddenly went on and addressed us with that name one day and naturally that became our brand.

Who are these ladies in my trio, you might be wondering? Well, it’s Cath and Deb.

Cath and I had been around each other since our 1st grade way back in 2009, but we're not really the “besties” at that time~

We are blood related, but as a kid we’ve been to quite a lot of quarrels. Although, I’ll say that @annventure is naturally a friendly kid to begin with, it’s just that our friends around us would make us fight each other. Won’t blame them, after all, kids are innately born immatures.

Meanwhie, Deb @lizhavesomefun and I became classmates during our freshmen years in high school, we became friends and had been inseparable since then. Our friendship had a headstart in 8th grade and went on deeper. The three of us became soul sisters. The fleeting nature of time deepened the unexpected bond with have.

From junior high school to senior years; until to our freshmen years as university students to senior years we have each other’s back.

We may had spent lesser time together since the pandemic until we stepped into the university, but we have never missed the important moments in each other's life.

We have a low maintenance kind of friendship, but were tight!

Despite the busy schedule, we always find time to have our little dates before each year ends. Sometimes in our homes, where we spend the day doing various activities like painting, although Cath’s not really an artist like Deb and I as she admits, she still gladly painted with us; do TikTok, cook and eat the classic pancit canton with egg, have a hike, or simply just a chat.

Or if we are kinda not broke, we would sometimes meet at the city, just sit around each other, ramble every significant events in our lives as if we’re giving one another a walkthrough to everything.

We would go to karaoke even though we’re never really singers in the first place haha. Exchange teas while we have our lunch in our fav fastfood restaurant “Jollibee.”

We would sit on the park and watch the sun goes down as we listen to the calming sound of the waves nearby; stroll around the town like we’ve never been to it haha.

We would watch the place lit up and capture every moments we had in photographs IF and only if we don’t forget about it, because honestly, we sometimes tend to forget to document our little dates just because we got too focused on savouring the exact moments ourselves. I know were not the only ones who've experienced that.

Sometimes, it’s best to just enjoy the present moment even without the pressure of capturing it through physical things like photographs, after all, we can always keep it in our hearts.

I am the happiest when I’m with them. I become the loudest version of myself when I’m with them. I giggle a lot, talk a lot, and act silly when I’m with them.

In our happiest days and darkest ones, we always make sure to tend each other. One day, we may walk on to far more different paths, but one thing is for sure and that is, we can always walk back and find each other in similar places we’ve been to together.
